I'm not so sure about that. Are my kids really better off (being raised in a good marriage, financial stability, and loving parents) than a child raised by two men who are also in a healthy relationship, have financial stability, and are loving parents? I'm not at all convinced. A gay couple may have to make a bit of extra effort to include members of the opposite sex in the child's life, so that they have role models of both sexes, but beyond that I'm not sure where the disadvantage lies.
