This was part of how my on-line stalker found me. He also used systems at work (he works for SBC too but in San Ramon) to get info on me.

When I finally changed my number I was allowed to have a non-published number (a no-no for employees). If he had made any attempt to call me on the new number I would have proof that he found it through the systems at work and he would be fired.

The thing with the listed numbers is once they are out there they are everywhere. Every site that has a phone directory will also have your number. It is impossible to remove it from everywhere.
