I wish I could have liked it more. I loved the concept of the characters and the appearance of familiar fairy tale elements. But something about the movie just fell flat. I felt the same way. Close to the end I remember turning to Michael and saying, "This is such an awesome concept, but they did a terrible job of pulling it off. I'm so bored."
