The water molecules, though not quite boiling, were still quite active. My roasting pan, when heated, is a slightly uneven (bottom) surface, as are the burners on the electric stove. So, with all the water molecules shifting around, the pan started to bang back and forth seemingly of its own accord. It was just funny because it made it look like my kitchen was haunted (I probably should have gotten a clip from further back, but I wanted to be sure you could see the pan moving). I don't know, I thought it was funny.
