katiesue~ So rates have been high for these dates since October? I hadn't checked until this week. We were up there in December and paid $113. for Homewood Suites and again in January {the first week}. Thought it was convenient and lesser expensive but it jumped to $179.! Maybe even $199.
Well, I thought it was because of the motocross events happening every weekend {or so} at Angel {Anaheim?} Stadium. This convention is way bigger and would explain it even more.
So, did you end up not finding anything? We almost went to Buena Park, the Knott's hotel or the Radisson that used to be the Embassy Suites. {but then we went to Target and bought a couple of bikes and decided that was it as far as budget goes for one day....we should remember what we are driving when we go shopping that far from home....
