Give her a real-life mojo for me

We actually started going flourescent quite a few years back. Bought a few and replaced old bulbs as they died. Then the Irvine Company decided to give us a bunch (as well as a blanket for the water heater and some fans for hot days). We got ourselves to complete flourescents except the specialty fixtures long before we moved out.

When we moved in here we took all the bulbs with us and bought more so we could go completely low-watt at the get-go. We tried to put some in the in-set lights in the kitchen but they looked awful - dim and reminiscent of a morgue. Sadly, we have to stick to incandescent there, as well as the dining room, because it's got a dimmer switch. When the hell are they going to master dimmer flourescents, eh?

Anyway. Don't you love boring household stories?
