What I find interesting is that if you see all 5 of the Best Picture nominees, you will have seen only one of the Best Lead Actor/Actress nominees (Helen Mirren in The Queen). Do you all think that this means that there were so many great films to choose from that the Academy scattered their nominating votes, or that the acting community (who nominates their own) couldn't agree on recognizing anyone from the largely ensemble movies?
