MY cross post:

When we saw Mickey standing all alone on MS our group started walking quickly to get to home before he disappeared. By the ed, we were almost RUNNING down Main Street yelling Mickey!!!!!! Now, mind you, we are a bunch of adults ranging in age from late 20's to mid 40's. And we were acting like excited children. Mickey has that effect. So, when we got to Mickey, were were in a state of joyous excitement.

Of course, all of our commotion allerted the real children in the Park poor, lonely Mickey started to get a crowd again. The amazing - and continued - rudness of Nathaniel had the effect of someone popping a giant Mickey balloon. His attitude when I asked him for his name was so unlike what I would expect ANYWHERE. He would get fired from Walmart with that attitude!

I'm not a complainer. i think I've complained to City Hall a total of one time in my 7 years of AP-ness. People have bad days and that's excusable. This guy was beyond excuse. I know several CM trainers - one of them trains character hosts - and I KNOW they would want to hear about this. So, I decided to bite the bullet and go to CH.

The CM at CH was wonderful! I asked for a complaint form and, instead of handing me a card to fill out, he started interviewing me and making notes himself. The whole grou - sans GC - was there and, as I told the story others interjected their own comments and concerns, so we had a pretty complete consenus about what happened. It seems that this was not the first incident of the night. THAT is really sad. We're APs and see the good on a regular basis. I can't even imagine a first timer or a child getting this attitude when seeing Mickey for the first time. Year of a Million Nightmares!

A few things were clarified at CH. It was the comment by Cupcake that seemed to really make him mad, but both her partner and I were standing near her and didn't hear her comment. I'm surprised that Nathaniel was able to hear it. I thought that was odd.

I never complain, avoid the complaint thread on message board and usually feel bad when I actually have make management aware of the situation. This situation was different. He ruined a magical moment and isn't the magic what Disney is all about?

And, he DISSED Mickey! You don't say no the the big cheese.
