I must add: our resident g-man here is a correct. There is never too soon for presents. There
is a too soon for presents within a certain league, but presents are good, even when it's bringing something you learn she likes. Like a favorite beverage or something. Something you found funny. Those are the things that win big points, early on. At least IMHO.
