I was wondering that about NA's camera, too. But the fact is, it's much more likely to be done if you can do it in camera ... with no post-production necessary. Ease of special effects when it comes to casual photos is a boon.

Sure, you can photoshop anything after the fact .... but sometimes you wouldn't want to bother, whereas doing it on the spot would be fun.



If we take the "slimming effect" to its next logical step ... there'd be a Funhouse Mirror setting that I might have fun with while I'm taking the pictures, but be too bored with those photographs to bother with when my ADD kicks in 10 minutes later.
