now who would argue that we should have stayed out of WWII, we spent 2 years sticking our fingers in our ears, closing our eyes, going "lalalala." Pearl Harbor may have forced our hand, but the country was hardly instantly gung-ho. So yes, propaganda was produced and used to turn the populace from begrudgingly accepting the inevitability of our participation into good old American hatred of the enemy. We have freedom fries, they had victory cabbage and Donald sieg heiling.
