Also, that my sister sent out an email pointing to a newspaper story detailing a massive firefight my brother-in-law was involved in (12 paratroopers, initially, holding off about 400 at a helicoptor crash) without specifically saying he came through ok.
Since she didn't say otherwise I assume it is so, but it would be nice to have it said explicitly.
