You know, sometimes you have to be careful how much you try to impress upon your child. This can go for musically, politically, whatever. It can go several ways with how kids come up with their views, but I can't even begin to tell you how many people I know that hold opposite opinions from their parents.

Of course, there are those that are the same, and those like me, who became apathetic to the whole political discourse.

My sisters liked crappy music until I backed off from trying to play jazz and other eclectica off the pop charts all the time. Now they are enjoying it, and even know the tunes.
