How funny, I didn't care much at all for Toot, Whistle, Plunk & Boom - yet I was far more enamored with the nuances in ITTBAB. Cats in the middle of bird montages, goofy 60s styling, a political and environmental message, plus the Python-esque animation - I couldn't resist getting a kick out of it.

If anything, what made the viewing hard to do (and it felt like it went ooonnnnn at points) was that it was so spawling and in segments. It felt like... I dunno, 5 short films smashed into one. I wonder what they were up against in 1969 to have actually won with this. (I'll have to check that out.)
