I always find myself in a quandary. If I pay $12, I get absent minded and do indeed lose or break them in the blink of an eye. I sometimes feel like if I pay more, I'll be motivated to actually give a crap and keep better tabs on them (e.g., the pair just replaced cost me $40 and I actually had them for over a year!). But, of course, a good portion of the time I pay the extra and something still happens to them.

This time I ended up with the cheapo option (2 pair for $20, score!) 'cause, save for the $140 (and above, yes I'm aware that I can easily spend a lot more than $140) options, they were the only ones I've found that look decent.
