I like to use 4 watt night light fixtures with light sensors throughout the house. This prevents the need to turn on lights when walking through the house at night, and is great for guests who don't know where the switches are.

The other day I was at Home Depot and I spotted these LED nightlights with sensors. They are very cool! A nice blueish light, and seem twice as bright as the 4 watt, and don't flicker off and on a lot at dusk like the incadecent ones. They are rated to last 10 years (no replcing bulbs) and use only 25 cents a year to run.

They came in a three pack and were also sponsored by So Cal Edison...

For under $4 a three pack!!!!!!!!!

I also bought all LED Christmas lights when they were marked down after Christmas. I replaced them all. LED is the way to go!
