Been there, done that. In 1975 when I worked at McD.s I was the "Bun Man" (toasted the buns), Dresser (applied condiments), and I (this is their terms) "Laid the meat"

(use your imagination). It was a three man job, but with the right timing it could be done by one guy. The shifts were 4 hours, but I felt like I worked 8. So I moved on.
In fact I'm also doing it now. The head of the lab is out with heart problems, so I'm doing most of his work, the QC guy quit so I'm doing most of his as well. Not to mention trying to do mine.
