Adult Voice: This time of year is extremely trying for Disneyland regarding teens. Last weekend we visited the resort. Four humongous buses arrived just before us. As we took the escalator down to the tram, we saw an absolute horde of teens (Jr High? High School? Can't really tell you) swarm in from the Pinocchio lot. They were a drop in the bucket, however, as we were surrounded by teens all morning. Of course this made me feel old and incurred my elderly wrath. Oh, wait, no, instead it reminded me how much I enjoyed visiting theme parks with my friends when I was in high school.
Anyway, the point is that DL security is dealing with annoying teens constantly from March 1st - April 31st every year. I'm not talking about you, but your more irksome bretheren - the pranksters and jerks who have been temporarily freed from their [strikeout]prison[/strikeout] school. By the time that security guard came to let you into your room that night, he had dealt with 7 noise complaints, 4 prank callers, and a streaker.
Teen Voice: Old people are cranky and always mistrustful of teens. You'll always be unfairly pigeonholed with the jerks of the world. They're very jealous of you for having so much energy and therefore having so much fun. Oh, and you reminded him of his eventual death which breathes down his neck every time he goes to sleep. Having your whole life ahead of you is almost more than he can stand.
There's some truth in there, somewhere.
