Some impressions after watching the show:
Good portrayal of Vickie, except… Where is the enormous purse she carried everywhere in the books?
The actor portraying Henry looks nothing like how the character was described in the books - short and stocky, red hair, and serious and a bit old fashioned. He was also a romance novel writer.
One major character was left out entirely – Tony: Henry’s assistant, main blood donor, and occasional lover.
Some of the acting was stilted, but hopefully they will get better.
The main demon at the end was cheesy.
I liked that they kept Toronto as the location, and didn’t change it to New York or LA in order to “Americanize” it.
Overall: ok. I’ll keep watching for now.
