Anyone have a kid who could have fun with a digital camera?
My old Olympus has done me great service, it still works great and would be a great starter camera for someone.

In addition it has a 256 Mb card and a USB card reader tossed in (instead of the crummy 16mb card it came with) the card holds about 250 photos for medium quality (default) and 96 for super high quality.
It's served me well and if you look at the pics in the RtS for Rosedale Cemetary, this is the camera I used.
