Today's late-breaking development - after the worry, the fear, the dismal prognosis, the doctor-led tour of the hospital facilities where they were going to conduct the surgery - the MRI says it's not a tumor. It's a big lump of scar tissue, which is still a problem, but it's not a tumor, not yet anyhow.
I don't know whether to kill the doctors for telling us they were 99% sure it was a recurrence of tumor and that they were doing an MRI to make sure it hadn't spread even further, or kiss them for such wonderful news.
