That's all well and good in hindsight....but when she points out that it's not
actually her birthday (which would be pretty much anyone's reaction), and the man becomes argumentative and poopy....he owes the apology, not her. Not for getting the date wrong, but for being a poopyhead.
And he'd better bring you home some Starbucks. That's all I gotta say.
