Even my beloved picture books will sometimes use words to describe an action being shown in the drawing or photo -- as if we did not all ready know what was going on! This tends to needlessly weigh the book down and in turn, allows publishers to charge more for the book (especially, if you like me, you tend to purchase books by weight).

Granted I am quite keen on the pop-up variety of book. But where are the Festivals of Pop up Books?

Exactly. Nowhere to be seen.

As most of you are aware I am entirely illiterate and it is only by chance that what I am now typing is forming actual words and sentences -- and in turn, acting as carriers of my inner-most thoughts. At least, that is what I dhydhsj. nk4wood? Ahdshdjrkkls ghgj sl;lsee dfg hj hbmf!

In short, I will be attending the Festival of VHS tapes next door.
