They're unsullied by the reality of over familiarity. It is kind of like my recollection that Thundercats was a wonderful show until I happened to watch a few episodes again last year. Nostalgia covers many sins.

Yeah, I got that. And I have no doubt that that's true in many cases. But in a world where I've seen Olive Garden put Italian restaurants that cost lest and have better food out of business I also have no doubt that I don't trust the tastes and restaurant decision making abilities of the majority of people.
