When I say I'm immune to their cuteness I don't mean to say I don't find them cute, I do. Kittens are uniformly cute.
But seeing a cute kitten does not make me want it. That's what I'm immune too. I can walk through an animal shelter look at all the kittens, play with them, tell them how cute they are and then say "ok now, off to the gas chamber with you."
