this story, the fire is 50% contained as of about noon today. Only one home has sustained minor damage - no other structures are affected.

Let's see: The 1961 Bel Air fire burned 6,090 acres and destroyed 484 homes and 21 other buildings. So far the Griffith Park Fire has burned 600 acres and
