I am not sure what your feelings are on this. Your acts ARE exceptional in today's society and she sounds very grateful. If someone did something like that for me, I would go out of my way to send them flowers or something to show my appreciation. I would feel like an absolute heel if I didn't make a
strong effort to thank you in a situation like this and I believe that is what she is doing.
I say just accept the gratitude! Sometimes learning how to accept a gift is a challenge!
Now, if she starts stalking you and wanting to be your best friend, than that is a different story
