Now, to me, this is not what I would call good news. I don't like the idea of someone chopping into my wife. I subscribe to the "No surgery is minor" school of thought. Sure, if the surgery is on me, it isn't a big deal, but not my beloved (I'm weird that way).
Seems the reason for her extreme cramps and probably a major contributor to our lack of success in the conception department is Endometriosis (Firefox doesn't think that is a real word). She went to the stirrups doctor this morning and was officially diagnosed.
I guess it is just a small incision below her belly button. I suspect that it is arthroscopic, but I am not sure. It should just be an outpatient procedure, but we'll know more later.
Susan is actually happy about this as she is looking forward to getting rid of the pain. I am looking foward to her being pain free and happy. I just wish she could get it without surgery.
