So, a coworker who knows I follow baseball asked me last Friday if I collect Dodger memorabilia. I started to say no, but it occurred to me that that answer didn't really jive with the existence of a pair of Dodger Stadium seats sitting on my porch, so I said, "kinda".
Well, he pointed me to a charity auction being run by the LA Times. There were a handful of Dodger items signed by Eric Gagne. One was a cap. It had no bids and a minimum bid of $65.
So on a whim I bid. And I won. No one else bid, so $65 it is.
Now I've got to decide what to do with it. It'll be a little awkward to display because for some reason he signed on the underside of the bill. If anybody has any ideas, I'm listening.
