Only if I don't have to paddle.
Actually, I was on the paddling team in high school. It was interesting...
From what I've seen so far, Boston can be a pretty swanky town. There are lots of clubs to go dancing at, museums, lots of great places to eat and then there's that whole marriage thing. Although, I don't see no ring on this finger.
I'm hoping I find my muse in Boston. I used to write a lot when I was in Hawai'i and LA. Monterey just didn't inspire me. I don't know. Everyone here is obsessed with Clint Eastwood, John Steinbeck and Julie Packard. It's kinda boring to hear about these folks over and over again... "Oh, you're a writer, do you like John Steinbeck? Oh, you like movies, do you know Clint? Oh, you're an activist, is that why you work for Packard?"
There are so many places I want to see in this world and the area I will be in will get me closer to that. But, like my best friend told me last night, if it doesn't work out, you can always come back to LA. And, that's true, too.
I'll still be on the boards, I'll just be getting up earlier than y'all. Or, knowing me, I'll be getting up at the same time as y'all. Or at least the y'all on the West Coast. I'll have to start emphasizing
which coast from now on.
