Anyway, I remember the 1982 Tab commercial. Good old Tab. The young folks to-day would never believe us old fogies --- but there was a time when ordering a Tab said something about a person. It wasn't a cola, it was a lifestyle. It was a revolt against the Pepsi generation and all its concupiscences.
Amen, Amen, I say to you, but there were parts of the world that knew nothing else but its sweet no calorie taste. Indeed, I can still recall, many times, hearing a waittress say, Sorry, hun, we don't serve Coke, Pepsi, Coffee or Irish. Just Tab.
During those times, I would just ask for a glass of ice water, cause I didn't have a taste for Tab myself. I was a Fresca man.
