Actually, out of the frightening make-up, the Lonster was a handsome fella. You know, in my opinion, for being released in 1925 this is still the most scariest looking movie monster of all time. No, really!

You know what also used to scare me to pieces? The Twilight Zone episode where an overacting William Shatner sees the "thing" on the plane wing! I was watching the Twilight Zone on the Sci-Fi channel in bed the other night, and that episode happened to be on. I was like, "I'm going to scare myself & watch this before falling asleep!".

What a difference adulthood makes. The "thing" looked like a dude in a cuddly teddy bear suit that got lost on the way of delivering a candy-gram. The face is still kinda freaky, however!
