It is important for boys to have a strong,
positive male role model. But that doesn't mean you need to run out and "find yourself a man", nor does it mean that casual dates need to be introduced if you are never going to see them again. If and/or when you are in a place where you would like to date, go for it. If you aren't, don't worry about it right now. Priorities 1 and 2 are Kid and you.
And Dr. Laura ranks up there with Oprah in terms of cultability.
