The easiest pasta dish in the world without using Ragu in a jar:
Pasta of your choice
canned diced tomatoes (we usually use 2 cans and we have leftovers)
goat cheese crumbles
basil
While pasta is cooking, mix tomatoes (don't drain them, throw the whole can in), cheese and basil in large bowl. Drain pasta and toss with mix. Serve.
GC can vouch for this dish - it's really tasty. Works well with a salad-in-a-bag, garlic bread, etc. If you really want to use your nice new knives, I'd recommend slicing tomatoes and adding a small can of tomato sauce.
