Certain small cities in OC actually allow the sale of small scale fireworks, as long as they donate some of the profit to charity (I don't know the exact numbers). It's crazy, because in Garden Grove and elsewhere you'll see the fireworks booths spring up - at high schools. I'm not seeing it in Orange.

When we lived in Stanton, the local kids had their share of sparklers etc. It was pretty cool, though slightly frightening (I grew up without any of it).

Now I want to see 1776 - never seen it.
