Dresses *or* jeans, but never combine the two. I love the GFY girls... yes, they trash things that regular people think look fine, but their commentary is to die for.

Thirty-something is a strange place to be, fashion-wise. The choices I've found and rejected are teeny-bopper (midriff tops, tight jeans or falling off jeans, flirty little things) or old lady (wild patterns, things cut wide, and lots of two-piece tops that just don't work for me). Even my mom faces the same conundrum; she doesn't like the things that are otherwise slated for her cohort. But to go younger is to go *really* young and that frightens people. It frightens me to think about dressing that way.

I'm still working on my style. Even when I find something I like, getting it to fit is a whole other nightmare.
