		 My mom would never let me participate in any of the fads, so I wore a series of generic outfits growing up.  Probably could wear similar items today without attracting much notice.   
 
I did have a grunge phase, but I also lived in the Seattle area, so it was required.  I miss those jeans - both knees blown out - and ripped the honest way, through wear, not through an attack of scissors.  Those jeans, green high-top Converse, a TMBG t-shirt, black velour blazer that I bought at the thrift store, a necklace of wooden beads, and hand-beaded earrings.
