I have a friend who keeps getting burgled, and I don't know how to help.
I mean, in the obvious sense, there's nothing I can do. They had their car stolen, their storage locker contents stolen, and their identity stolen. Unrelated crimes.
The common factor is the victim, not the crimes. I feel like they must have a target on their backs ... and there's something about
themselves they must change in order to change this pattern.
I just don't know what that might be, or what advice to give them so they could find out what it is.
But something needs to change with them, or I'm afraid they're going to keep getting ripped off.
(
and no offense, but those who think being victimized - whether by crime or cancer or hurricane - has nothing to do with the victim, can just take their cluelessness elsewhere and kindly refrain from bothering to call me a whackjob.)
