Yes folks, the saga gets even better.
Now I am on hold (53 minute call!) with the customer service "escalation" department -- the person whom I was last talking to, I got as far as giving her dates for the exchange (yay!)
Then she says that the person that she was talking to in the delivery department is no longer picking up, and she would have to transfer me to the "escalation" part of customer service. So after another hold, I had to explain THE ENTIRE PROBLEM AGAIN with a person in the "escalation" department, and now I am on hold again.
$hit! I was so close! /cry /cry /cry
