I've had an ingrown toe nail where I cut it wrong and it grew into the skin and it got all white and blood and pus were coming out so they had to inject something to numb it and they cut off half of my big toenail and some infected skin and have me topical ointment and antibiotics and to this day I always cut my toenails in a straight line.
