OK, that was actually FUNNY! The guy shows up 45 minutes late with his "technician" (no phone call to tell me he will be late). I bring him in to look at the tub, moving the laundry I had just hung there to dry. The "technician" says - "We'll need the light". "To do an estimate" I ask? "No, to do the resurfacing!" Ummmm, I just wanted an estimate and we can't do it today anyways since my husband needs to take a shower in the morning. The "technician" gets pissed off, walks out of the house, starts the truck and starts honking the horn.
The owner tries to snooze me a bit and tell me he wouldn't come all of the way out here to give an estimate that he could have done over the phone. Well, maybe you should've actually talked to me on the phone for a bit then or called me back when you said you were going to. Meanwhile, the "technician" is honking outside. I tell the guy to leave, that his "technician is disturbing the neighbors.
Even if he IS the best price, i will NOT give him the job. What a way to run a business.
