I was supposed to get my portion of the brief drafted today, but last night I discovered The Case That Makes Everything I've Done Wrong, so I had to basically start over. Considering that I started from scratch, I got quite a lot done - created a preliminary argument structure, weeded through research to find the best/most cited cases for my arguments, and to demonstrate the current agreement of all circuit courts on this issue, and pulled out the major supporting citations the argument will be structured around.
Nothing actually written yet, but my brain is full for the day. I might get some cleaning/laundry/class reading done tonight. Tomorrow is tutoring and dinner with the fam, and Sunday I must turn my "advanced outline" into a coherent near-final draft. I hope I get it done, or my team mate will be pissed!
I have, at most, 10 double-spaced pages to fill, though, so it shouldn't be too hard. It's a fairly straight-forward argument.
