How NOT to get an already hostile demolition derby crowd on your side during a karaoke contest (don't ask me why) at intermission:
"Support legalization of gay marriage!!"
Not that I don't agree with the dude, but the phrase "time and place" comes to mind.
Didn't help that he proceeded to not know a single lyric to whatever song he was seeing. Not that it mattered since the crowd was set on booing anyone who took that mic.
