Tori had her evaluation and beginning PT today- it seems she has just under a 20 degree curve, which makes her a good candidate for PT only. (Yaay!) It is a long, gradual curve that if left unchecked could really mess her up as it twists forward in the upper area, and the other way by her hips, but I think we caught it early enough to head off any permanent damage. (I don't know how someone could miss any greater degree- it was so apparent that something was wrong as it was!) I told her I would do all the home exercises with her,and I think she'll actually make me keep my word.

Her PT was really nice and very funny- I think Dr. Olds (her ENT) may have a rival when it comes to being silly and cute. She'll go twice a week, and work out at home as well. We still have to go to the orthopedic guy, but I feel mucho better about the whole situation now.

Oh, and I actually bought two items of clothing today that weren't black. Whether I will wear them remains to be seen, but it's a start.
