I did all the resets I could find on the iPod site - holding the menu and the middle button, holding the menu and the bottom button. Did it plugged in to the wall, the computer and not plugged into anything.

I plugged it back in to the wall, and will try before I go to bed. If that doesn't work I'll drain the battery.
