Methinks Ally needs a doggie. Doggies inspect night noises and let us know the coast is clear

As far as the Northridge quake, I was seriously affected for a long time, years. You wouldn't think something so common as a quake could suddenly affect you differently, but, well I lived in Northridge at the time. That whole waking up on a jackhammer thing. And later that whole smelling gas thing. But the upside was the whole meeting your helpful neighbors thing.

Anyway, aftershocks bugged the you-know-whatsis out of me for a couple years. But for some reason I have lost most of that "new" quake anxiety. At least, I think I have. I wonder though, if I'd feel the same if I still lived in the Valley?

I think I'm less afraid of "The Big One" now though, because I remember them saying that being so far out in the desert, the damage to LA from The Big One would be like Northridge, only wider spread. So okay, made it through that... next!
