I hope so, too.
I put my son in to an alternative school that goes from 7th-12th grade. I love it. It is smaller, great hours for a teens style.
But, it isn't what is people consider good for readying him for the real world. So, while I like that it is a much nicer environment for him {my older two went to the local middle schools/high school} he is being encouraged to attend a regular school. I don't like it. I am trying to discourage him.
The alternative to that is private school....I wonder what the new Catholic school runs?
Okay, he was not a happy camper when I told him that I was considering a religious school. He says they are only teaching myths.
Do parochial schools all go by a religious,ugh, plan? {can't think of the word}.
