Yeah, I was late to it as well. I owned Nevermind on cassette - same went for Pearl Jam's Ten. It's funny to think that I never owned these albums in CD format. I finally begged my grandmother for a CD player as a Hanukkah gift. I still listened to cassettes on a regular basis for years afterwards, just because that was most of what I had.
