When I went on the
Behind the Emerald Curtain tour in NYC, we were told they are going to wait as long as possible before making a film version of Wicked. The stage show is still amazingly successful, both on Broadway and the touring company, and they do not want a wide release movie to slow their money making machine.
I love Wicked, but I can't really think about it anymore. I am totally obsessed with Spring Awakening! Spring Awakening!! Spring Awakening!!!
