I (as usual) couldn't fall asleep, so I got up around 2:15 and went to check it out. The moon was visible right from our deck, and the sky was mostly clear, excepting for a few wisps of clouds. Very pretty night! The moon looked like someone had taken a bite out of the upper left hand side.
